Texas coach, players say narrow loss a win for the future

AUSTIN, Texas (AP) — The Texas and Alabama game was loud, wild and unpredictable until Crimson Tide quarterback Bryce Young took over the final period by driving the Crimson Tide to a touchdown and the game-winning field goal. But the Longhorns believe they’re closing to returning to national powerhouse status. The Longhorns are scheduled to leave the Big 12 for the SEC in 2025.
