NATIONAL SUMMARY
Numerous showers and thunderstorms are expected near the
Ohio River tomorrow. Farther west, spotty strong
thunderstorms will rumble in parts of Minnesota and Nebraska
during the afternoon. Meanwhile, Hurricane Isaias will move
northward and bring the potential for flooding rain,
damaging winds and isolated tornadoes to the southern and
eastern Florida Peninsula. Afternoon thunderstorms will dot
portions of New Mexico. Thunderstorms will drench much of
Kentucky and Tennessee. The interior Northwest will continue
to endure hot weather, although temperatures will not be
quite as high as in recent days. In the desert Southwest,
some locations will once again have temperatures approaching
or exceeding 120 F.
