The Nation’s Weather for Tuesday, December 1, 2020
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
A major storm system will push across Lake Ontario tomorrow
and continue to bring snow and rain to portions of the Great
Lakes and Northeast. The steadiest snow will target eastern
Ohio, western Pennsylvania and northern West Virginia as the
lake-effect snow machine rumbles to life later in the day. A
mix of rain and snow will push as far east as central New
York and Pennsylvania, while showers will be common
elsewhere across the Northeast. A blast of cold air will
send shivers down the spine of the Southern states. Gusty
offshore winds will lead to an increased risk for wildfire
start and spread across Southern California. After days of
dreary weather, a dry and rather sunny day is in store for
the Northwest.
