Mostly sunny for Wednesday, rain returns on Thursday

KIFI - Evan Thomason

TODAY: Mostly sunny skies will be across the region today.  Hazy skies will be found too throughout much of central ID and the Snake River Plain.  We might have a stray rain shower or two in central ID in the afternoon, but besides that rain chances are just about zero.  Winds will be mostly calm between 5-10 mph.  High temperatures take a very slight increase into the upper 80's to mid 90's.

TOMORROW: Rain showers are back for Thursday afternoon.  Isolated rain showers will focus towards the mountains of central ID, SE Idaho, and western WY.  The valleys will have only stray rain showers roll through.  Winds will be slightly breezy between 10-20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.  High temperatures will take a very slight decrease into the upper 80's to low 90's.

LONG TERM: Isolated rain showers continue for the region on Friday before we dry up for the weekend on Saturday and Sunday.  More isolated rain showers appear to come back for most of the first half of the work week.  Winds will look to stay a little breezy between 10-20 mph.  High temperatures do not change much over the long term with high's staying in the upper 80's and lower 90's.
