Hazy morning leading to isolated thunderstorms tonight

KIFI - Evan Thomason

TODAY: Isolated rain showers will be found throughout the day in central ID with hazy and mostly cloudy conditions for everywhere else.  Isolated thunderstorms start to form in central ID in the late afternoon and will continue into the late-night hours.  Isolated thunderstorms also are possible to move into the rest of the night for tonight.  Winds will be slightly breezy, but they can be very gusty up to 50 mph under storms.  High temperatures get into the upper 80's and lower 90's.

TOMORROW: Isolated rain showers and thunderstorms will be present for eastern ID and western WY throughout the day.  Winds will be slightly breezy with good wind gusts underneath the rain showers and thunderstorms.  High temperatures decrease down to the 80's.

LONG TERM: Rain showers and thunderstorms continue into Friday and Saturday.  Stray rain showers will be left for Sunday and Monday before we look to dry up into next week.  Wind stays fairly calm between 5-15 mph for the long term.  High temperatures continue to slightly decrease into the upper 70's and lower 80's by Saturday before slightly warming back into the mid to upper 80's for next week.
