Isolated snow showers carry on for the rest of the work week

TODAY: We will have bits of light snow showers across the region for the afternoon hours.  Winds will be mostly light between 5-15 mph.  High temperatures will be in the mid to upper 30's.

TOMORROW: More isolated snow showers continue across the region for Thursday with little to no chances for any rain showers.  Winds will be mostly light between 5-15 mph.  High temperatures will slightly decrease into the low to mid 30's.

LONG TERM: Snow showers will be a little more scattered for eastern ID and western WY for Friday.  Conditions finally dry out for the most part by the weekend.  A few stray snow showers could creep into the forecast for the start of next week, but overall, dry conditions are likely for the long term.  Winds will be lighter for the weekend and next week between 5-10 mph.  High temperatures drop a little more into the upper 20's and lower 30's for Friday and the weekend before high's could go back into the low to mid 30's by early next week.

WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 8 PM THIS EVENING TO 5 AM MST THURSDAY for The Bear River Range and Big Hole Mountains, including by not limited to Victor, Pine Creek Pass, and Emigration Summit; and Centennial Mountains - Island Park - including the cities of Island Park and Kilgore.

WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 PM MST THIS AFTERNOON for Jackson Hole.

WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 AM MST THURSDAY for Lemhi County,Yellowstone National Park and Teton and Gros Ventre  Mountains.

AVALANCHE WARNING is in effect until 4 AM MST Thursday for The southern Sawtooth, White Cloud, Smoky, Boulder, Pioneer, Soldier, and Wood River Valley Mountains, including the mountains near Smiley Creek, Galena Summit, Trail Creek Summit, Ketchum, Hailey, Bellevue, Fairfield, and Carey.

AVALANCHE WARNING is in effect until 5:29 AM MST Thursday for Centennial Mountains in Island Park.
