Eastern Idaho prepares for unseasonably mild weather

KIFI

Building high pressure is sweeping into eastern Idaho, locking us into a stretch of warm weather after a slight weekend chill. Patchy fog will give way to mostly clear skies Friday, leading to a clear fall afternoon with highs in the mid to upper 40s. Winds will remain light around 5 mph.

Tonight, skies will remain partly cloudy with lows dropping to around 30.

Saturday will be mostly sunny with highs in the low to mid 50s.

By Sunday and Monday, high pressure pushes temperatures 5 to 10 degrees above seasonal norms. Expect partly cloudy skies with afternoon highs reaching the mid-50s.

The unseasonably warm and mild weather pattern continues through the next week. Tuesday and Wednesday will stay partly cloudy with highs in the mid-50s for your Veterans Day.
