Wind Advisory 50mph gusts

Red flag warning is in effect for the area, low humidity and strong winds associated with a buzzsaw trough dropping in from the north create even more fire-prone conditions. Hot temps in the 90's and dry lands feed any fires, including the Lemhi County Hyland fire.

10-20+ winds for the day with the strongest winds in the Arco Desert and west of I-15.

Very little moisture from the flow we are receiving south and west of the Utah line, a possibly hit of thunder and a storm in the southeastern highlands and state line counties for Wyoming. Some clouds make it in here for tomorrow. Today's wind gives us some relief from light smoke in the valley possibly.

This warm trend continues with a slight dip in temps tomorrow before warming to the upper 90's for the weekend. Staying dry and look for fire danger to continue. Next week could bring some extreme temperature to kick start August.
