IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (KIFI) - The following school districts have closed school for Friday, Jan 12.

  • College of Eastern Idaho Campus

Other closures/notices

  • Due to inclement weather, the City of Pocatello facilities will be closing all nonessential departments on Friday, January 12, 2024. In response to the National Weather Service blizzard warning, citizens are urged to stay off of the roads except in emergency situations. Street Operations snow plows are running 24 hours and will continue to plow, as necessary.
  • Also, the snow proclamation issued on Jan. 7 for the City of Shelley remains in effect due to the blizzard warning issued by the local weather service. Keep your vehicles off of the street to avoid being towed. 
  • The Shoshone-Bannock Tribal Government offices and Fort Hall Indian Health Services (IHS/Clinic) are closed today.
  • Shelley Senior Center is also closed today.
