High wind watch in effect for Wednesday

Still cloudy as we wait for a stout cold front to zoom through for tomorrow. Ahead of the front, some areas of rain and snow may be scattered across the valley today and building into tomorrow. Winds, rain, snow all expected to be gusty and with highs coming out of the 50 degree mark today and dropping to the upper 40s. Lows will be above average as well, with the winds and cloud cover.

Rain and maybe a wintry mix from the valley to our hills, then above 6000 feet snow and blowing snow may make travel hazardous to start Wednesday. Expect much colder air by tomorrow night, into the teens, with another round of snow possible into Thursday. Front after front delivering more days with chances of precipitation for the next week or so.

Winds will gust to 30mph today and starting tomorrow morning with rain/snow gust to 40-50mph.
