Tracking heavy downpours and gusty storms

Weather pattern changes today with 80% chance of thunderstorm with heavy rain and the threat of flooding and overflow.  Red flag warnings are up for fire potential as well.  Winds will be gusty around storms and can change suddenly 35-45 mph.  Temps are dropping to 70's and conditions turn grey and can affect visibility.

Secure loose items in your yard and take care of pets with possible thunderstorms and water. Accumulating water may also produce mudslides and moving earth.

Burn scar areas need to be monitored for moving debris and clogged water paths can produce flooding in neighborhoods .Flash flood watches are in effect for upper central Snake River Plain through tonight.

Wet roads become even slicker after long dry periods as well so exercise caution driving and be aware of flash flooding concerns and warnings. Turn around don't drown. 

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are being monitored.
