More wind for this weekend with a chance of rain Sunday

Gusty winds continue for late Friday, with just a few isolated showers and thunderstorms possible. As we move into Saturday, we’ll see dry conditions with gusty winds. It will be slightly warmer with our winds out of the southwest. High temperatures for Saturday in the Snake River Plain will reach the lower to mid 80’s. Wind speeds will be around 15-25 mph with gusts around 25-35 mph.

For Sunday, we have a chance of a few showers and thunderstorms, mainly for the mountains. Cooler for Sunday, with high temperatures reaching the upper 60’s and lower 70’s. Winds will be out of the southwest around 15 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 35 mph.

For Monday, look for sunny skies and cool temperatures in the mid to upper 60’s.

Slightly warmer for Tuesday with sunshine. High temperatures will reach the lower 70’s.
