Sunny and warmer weather

We will continue to enjoy a stretch of warm, above-average temperatures through Friday, with plenty of sunshine and comfortable conditions.

Overnight for late Wednesday, look for clear skies and temperatures cooling to the mid-40s. Light winds around 5 mph from the northeast.

Thursday looks very nice with warmer weather. Look for sunny skies and afternoon temperatures climbing into the mid-70s. Light winds will make it feel even more comfortable. Warm weather continues Friday as highs reach the upper 70’s.

A change arrives late Friday as winds increase through the afternoon and evening. Sustained winds will increase to around 15 mph, with gusts reaching 25 mph during the day and up to 30 mph Friday night. While skies remain mostly clear to partly cloudy, the stronger winds will signal a shift toward cooler weather.

Temperatures will fall back closer to seasonal levels over the weekend. Saturday will be mostly sunny with highs around 70 degrees, with an afternoon breeze. By Sunday, a mix of sun and clouds returns with temperatures in the low 70s. There is also a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms Sunday into Monday as a weak weather system moves through the region.
