Warm and breezy for Friday; cooler this weekend

High pressure to our east, will deliver a dry and warming pattern for Friday. However, a cold front passing by to the northwest will bring windy conditions and cooler weekend temperatures.

Thursday overnight will be mostly clear, with a low temperature in the lower 40’s for the Snake River Plain. Calm to light wind around 5mph from the east.

Sunny and breezy for Friday with a high temperature in the upper 70’s to lower 80’s. Winds will increase through the afternoon from the southwest around 10-15 mph. Winds could gust as high as 25 mph. Staying breezy overnight with winds around 15 mph. Overnight lows will drop to the upper 40’s and lower 50’s for the Snake River Plain.

Cooler and mostly sunny for Saturday with high temperatures in the upper 60’s. Winds from the south-southwest around 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph.

Sunday will be partly sunny with a high temperature in the lower 70’s. Increasing clouds moving into Sunday evening, with a chance of thunderstorms and showers.
