Highland Rams return to .500 after defeating rival Pocatello Thunder

POCATELLO, Idaho — For the 16th straight year the Highland Rams have defeated the Pocatello Thunder in the 'Black and Blue' bowl. In a low scoring matchup ISU commit Cedric Mitchell's late touchdown turned out to be key in the Rams 17-8 win over the Thunder.

After a slow start to the year the Rams have now won three straight games and are back at .500 (3-3). Next, they will play their last road game against the great defense of Madison, before playing their final two games of the regular season at home against Rigby and then Thunder Ridge.

For the Pocatello Thunder they fall to 1-5 on the season and have lost 4 straight games. Looking ahead they will be at Shelley next week before also being home for their final two games, first against Blackfoot, then against Century.
