More sunshine with high temperatures in the 70’s

High pressure and dry air will keep our region completely dry with minimal cloud cover through the workweek. Above-normal temperatures and dry conditions will extend through the first full week of October, thanks to the strong ridge of high pressure.

For Wednesday night, we’ll keep it mostly clear. A low temperature around the mid 40’s. Light winds around 5-10 mph.

Sunny for Thursday, with high temperatures in the Snake River Plain reaching the lower 70’s. Winds will be light around 5-10 mph from the southwest.

On Friday it will be sunny again and warmer with high temperatures in the upper 70’s. Light and variable wind becoming west southwest around 5 to 10 mph in the afternoon.

Saturday will be mostly sunny, with a high temperature in the upper 70’s to lower 80’s.
