Idaho Falls Tigers dominate senior night with 9-0 victory

IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (KIFI) – The Idaho Falls Tigers girls' soccer team celebrated senior night on Wednesday ahead of a match against the Bonneville Bees. The Tigers wasted no time putting goals in the net once the game began.

Just moments into the match, Idaho Falls tallied their first goal. Helena Zalupski played a nice through ball past Bonneville's back line, allowing Reagan Sessions to break free toward the net. Sessions took a touch and snuck one past the keeper for the first goal of the game.

A little bit later, off of a free kick. Idaho Falls senior Macy Cook corralled the ball in the box and played it out to Taylor Lee. Lee fired the ball off the pass, putting it into the back of the net to make it 2-0 Tigers.

Then, off of a Bonneville failed clearance, Sayuri Knight settled the ball and fired a long shot to the far post and into the net for the third Tiger goal of the match in just over 11 minutes. Idaho Falls rode the hot start to a 9-0 win on senior night, improving to 8-6 on the year. The Tigers will take on Skyline Friday, October 2nd.
