Pocatello holds off Blackfoot in 41-34 thriller

POCATELLO, Idaho (KIFI) — The Pocatello Thunder picked up a thrilling 41-34 win over the Blackfoot Broncos Friday night.

Pocatello led 14-7 at halftime before Blackfoot battled back behind Parker Wright, who scored two rushing touchdowns to help the Broncos tie the game.

But the Thunder had an answer. Quarterback Rhev Stucki connected with Caden Butterfield on a deep pass for Butterfield's third touchdown of the night, helping Pocatello secure the seven-point victory.

Pocatello will close out its regular season at home against Century next Friday, October 23.

Meanwhile, Blackfoot will return home to host Hillcrest that same night.
