BYU-Idaho To Hold Winter Graduation

Brigham Young University-Idaho will hold its commencement ceremonies Friday night, and 1,674 students will be awarded 1,691 degrees. That?s 180 more graduates than in winter 2011.

Of the diplomas to be handed out, 1,073 are bachelor?s degrees, and 618 are associate degrees.

Elder M. Russell Ballard, a member of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will be keynote speaker. He will be accompanied by Church Educational System Commissioner Elder Paul V. Johnson.

The university’s spring semester starts April 17.
