2 Hurt In Dirt Bike Crash

Two people were injured shortly before noon Wednesday in a dirt bike crash, Bonneville County deputies said.

The accident occurred in the Ammon foothills, where the terrain is very rough.

A male and a female, both under 18, were involved. Both wore riding gear and helmets.

People riding with them said they came over the top of a little hill and saw both of them lying on the ground. The only assumption the sheriff’s office can make is that they ran into each other.

Air Idaho left the scene at noon, taking the girl to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. She was conscious and breathing. The boy was taken by ambulance to EIRMC. He was also conscious and breathing.
