US 20 Construction To Begin Monday Near Rexburg
HK Contractors will begin a $3 million seal coat project on U.S. Highway 20 north of Rexburg Monday.
Idaho Transportation Department spokesman Bruce King said crews will resurface 2.5 miles of the highway between the South Fork Teton River Bridge and north Rexburg interchange (Exit 337).
Travel will be reduced to one lane in each direction and speed limit reduced to 55 miles per hour. King says it should be complete sometime in July.
The project will strengthen and smooth the roadway and involve breaking up and settling concrete pavement using a process known as “crack and seal.?
