Thunder Run Recognizes Veterans, Active Duty Soldiers

The POW/MIA held its annual Thunder Run on Monday.

The event recognizes veterans and the active duty service members on Memoral Day. The event started at Century High School, where participants left in cars and on motorcycles and headed to Lava Hot Springs for a ceremony. Then the group rode around the Pocatello remembering those that fought for our freedoms.

The riders returned to Century High School just before 6 o’clock.

“It’s an honor,? said front cyclist Ken Wright. ?To be in the front with the American flag is actually the best part for me. It’s true patriotism.”
