Distracted teen crashes into Pocatello home
A teenager crashed into a home Monday morning in Pocatello.
Police said a 16-year-old driver was driving east on South Fairway Drive when he dropped his phone.
They said the teenager leaned down to pick-up the phone, and with his eyes off the road, he careened into a garage.
No one inside the home was hurt, but police said the teenager was taken by ambulance to Portneuf Medical Center. He was released with minor injuries and cited for inattentive driving.
