Hotel drug bust lands three men in jail

Idaho Falls police arrested three men late Friday night after investigating the possible use of marijuana at the Hotel on the Falls at 475 River Parkway.

Brandon Evans, 19, was arrested on charges of possession of a stolen financial transaction card, possession of drug paraphernalia and frequenting a place where drugs were present.

John Mourlas and Garrett Gafford, both 22, were arrested on charges of possession of marijuana with intent to deliver, possession of paraphernalia, frequenting a place where drugs are present and possession of a controlled substance without a prescription.

According to police, officers met the three men in a sixth floor room around 11:30 p.m. They found 4.2 ounces of marijuana, drug paraphernalia including pipes, syringes, scales, a grinder, baggies, glass bulbs and a variety of prescription medication.None of the three had a prescription.

Officers said Evans was also found with a stolen credit card.
