High Wind Warning

The National Weather Service in Pocatello has issued a “High Wind Warning” for Saturday. The warning includes thecommunitiesof the Snake River Plain.

A Pacific cold front is expected to arrive Saturday morning, with very strong winds developing through the day.

Sustained southwest winds will reach around 40-45mph, with wind gusts reaching near 60mph.

The Weather Service says residents should prepare for the strong winds by securing loose items around their property, such astrampolines and garbage cans.
