Driver extricated in I-15 crash
A one-vehicle rollover crash occurred on Interstate 15 in the Pocatello area resulted in a driver being hospitalized Thursday.
The Idaho State Police said Colton Stears, 19, of Chubbuck, was traveling south in a Honda Civic when he exited at Clark Street around 11:30 a.m. Stears’ car veered to the left impacting the side of a hill. The Civic rolled and came to rest on its top.
Stears was wearing a seat belt and was extricated from the car. Stears was transported by ground ambulance to the Portneuf Medical Center, where he was treated and released.
The southbound off-ramp was blocked for about an hour.
