Juveniles cited for entering vacant building

Four juveniles were cited after Pocatello Police found them inside the former Scott’s Ski and Sports building on Main Street.

When police were called, at 10:43 p.m. Thursday, they found an open door. The owner of the building told officers there should be no one in the building.

While waiting for a K-9 Officer and his partner to arrive officers saw two subjects inside the building and took them into custody.

Police cleared all five floors of the building and found two more subjects on the 4th floor.

The juveniles told investigators they were inside the building and on its roof to smoke marijuana. No drugs were located. They said they entered through an open window.

All four were cited for unlawful entry and released to their parents.
