Stormy Weekend Ahead

Partly Sunny today with increasing clouds with a low pressure system that settles into tomorrow bringing winds from the WSW 10-20+ mph and chances for showers and storms Saturday, Sunday, Monday, with a slow moving front on top of us. Snow for mountain communities and isolated thunderstorms are a possibility in the I-15 corridor. Heavy rains, gusty winds, hail are all possible with thunderstorms, as well as lightning, since we are back in the season for sneaky spring storms. Secure loose items, and watch for branches and limbs and other flying debris with stronger winds at times. (Trampolines, toys, garden gnomes may leave the home...)

Highs ramp in to the upper 50's to lower 60's and around 50 from Island Park to Jackson. Lows in the 20's/30's and upper 50's on Saturday before air behind the frontal system takes temps down again into the lower 50's with rain/snow scattered across the area. It looks like it will be warmer, mid 60's, by mid week next week. Enjoy today's sunny start, watch for winds picking up and some smoky haze.
