Brown steps down as Idaho State softball coach

POCATELLO, Idaho (KIFI) - Idaho State University is looking for a new head softball coach. Cristal Brown announced Monday that she has resigned.

Brown was named head coach of the Bengals in July of 2019. She went 19-41 overall during her time with the Bengals.

In a release, Brown says that she is proud of the areas she was "able to impact in a positive way." She also added that she looks "forward to supporting the team going forward as a 'Berm Bum'."

A national search for a new head softball coach begins immediately.
