Blackfoot dominates Hillcrest in district title game

BLACKFOOT, Idaho (KIFI) - Demry Wixom and Victoria Agado combine for 9 RBI to lead Blackfoot to an 11-1 win over Hillcrest Thursday. The Broncos now head to state as the 4A District 6 softball champions.

Wixom and Agado each knocked in a pair of runs in a 5-run second inning to open the game up for Blackfoot. Wixom ended up 3-4 with 5 RBI, including a home run. Agado finished 3-4 with 4 RBI.

The Broncos play 9 am Friday May 21 against Twin Falls to open up the 4A state tournament at Skyview Park in Nampa. Hillcrest heads to OK Ward Field in Pocatello to face Vallivue in a state play-in game on Saturday. First pitch is at 1 pm.
