Woman arrested in connection with stolen library scooter

A woman was arrested after police said she was found with a motorized scooter stolen from the Idaho Falls Library.

Idaho Falls police said library officials told them Thursday morning about the stolen electric mobility scooter, which was valued at $1,120.

It was later found at the 1200 block of Lake Avenue.

Melissa Kean, 48, of Idaho Falls, was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of stolen property and was booked into the Bonneville County Jail.
