Man arrested after marijuana plants found in home

An Idaho Falls man was arrested on a charge of felony manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance in the presence of children after police discovered a marijuana-growing operation in his house.

Police were at the house of Leroy Aeschbacher III, 31, on the 1800 block of East 16th Street, to serve a felony warrant Thursday afternoon. While police were searching the home for the suspect, they found Aeschbacher had 15 marijuana plants with accompanying grow lights, officers said.

Four children lived with Aeschbacher and were home when he was arrested. They were placed in the care of a family member.

Aeschbacher was booked into the Bonneville County Jail.
