Man arrested after steak knife incident

An Idaho Falls man threatened an officer with steak knives, police said.

Officers were called to the 1200 block of Ashment on Monday night for a disturbance.

The person who called police wanted Mark A. Camp, 46, to leave the home as he was allegedly causing a disturbance and threatening people in the house.

An officer told Camp he needed to leave and allowed him to gather his belongings. While doing so, Camp grabbed two steak knives and threatened the officer, police said.

He was arrested on a charge of aggravated assault and booked into the Bonneville County Jail.
