Construction for Bonneville County sheriff’s Ammon field office underway
The construction of the new Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office is well underway.
It’ll be located in the 3700 block of East Lincoln Road.
The Sheriff’s Office said the new location will help cut emergency response times. Most of the patrol will be out of this office, it will serve as the primary logistical point.
It will be 14,000 square-feet. Seven thousand square feet will be for offices and community services. The other 7,000 will be for storage and further expansion.
The area for the site is two acres.
The sheriff’s office said it should be fully operational by the summer.
