Pocatello Fire Department puts out mobile home fire
Pocatello Fire Department responded to and put out a fire at a home at 925 Wilson Tuesday evening.
According to the report from the fire department a resident of the home noticed a smell of smoke in the home just before 9 p.m. They then discovered a fire in a bedroom and the family evacuated and called 911.
A male living in the home attempted to extinguish the fire using a garden hose but had to abandon efforts because of the smoke and heat. Once on scene the Pocatello Fire Department was able to keep the fire contained to the bedroom and then extinguish the fire.
No one was injured in the fire. The cause of the fire is still being investigated.
