Inmate charged after Bonneville County jail fight

Devin Crawford, 24, has been charged with two additional felonies after a fight in the Bonneville County Jail Monday.

Crawford’s sentencing on kidnapping and related charges was postponed Wednesday because of the altercation.

According to the Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office, Crawford attacked Ivan Sandoval, 20, with a blunt object.

Deputies intervened and stopped the fight. Both men were treated for minor injuries by jail medical staff.

Crawford, Sandoval, and Alvero “Tito” Oseguera have been held in the jail for their involvement in the August 27, 2015 kidnapping and aggravated battery of Brandon Bykonen.

Detectives have charged Crawford with intimidating a witness and possession of contraband in a correctional facility, both felonies.
