Community conversation on city snow removal

The city of Idaho Falls is having a community conversation on snow removal next week.

City officials will be in the City Council Chambers to hear public comment and answer questions on snow removal policies and procedures.

“Citizens, especially in this community, especially in this state, should never be hesitant about sharing their concerns or opening their mouths because they would be very surprised about how much that could influence an outcome,” Mayor Rebecca Casper said. “If someone thinks, ‘Oh they won’t care what I have to say,’ or ‘Oh my voice doesn’t matter,’ nothing could be further from the truth. We are hungry to find out what people care about.”

The meeting will be Wednesday, March 30, from 5 to 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers at 380 Constitution Way. If you cannot make it, there is an online survey that runs through April 6.
