District 25 cancels bench bus runs

School District 25 has cancelled bus runs to the Granite and Summit areas around Pocatello because of snowfall.

According to district spokesperson Shelley Allen, the snow made it difficult for busses to make it up the hills. Othe bus routes are also running late.

The district dispatched busses for morning classes on schedule, but before heavy snow began to fall. As a result, early runs to the Granite and Summit areas were successful.

Classes are in session for all other areas of the school district today.
