Man arrested for stealing golf cart from Pinecrest Golf Course

An Idaho Falls man was arrested Sunday for his part in stealing a golf cart from an Idaho Falls golf course.

Idaho Falls Police arrested 27-year-old Trevor K. Salmon for grand theft in connection to a stolen golf cart from the Pinecrest Golf Course.

Salmon of Idaho Falls was booked into the Bonneville County Jail on Sunday.

According to the police report, the Pinecrest Golf Course, located at 701 E. Elva, reported to police on Sunday afternoon that a golf cart rented from the facility Saturday afternoon had been stolen. The golf cart was valued at $3,000.

Later in the day, officers were notified the golf cart had been located in the 3500 block of East 17th Street in Ammon. Salmon was in possession of the cart.
