Detailed Forecast for Oct. 24, 2016

Southwesterly flow aloft is bringing in plenty of moisture across East Idaho for the beginning of the week. Expect a good deal of cloud cover, scattered showers and storms, mild temperatures and breezy conditions. A ridge of high pressure will return for the middle of the week giving us drier weather with more sunshine.

Monday – numerous showers and thunderstorms possible with mostly cloudy skies and breezy winds from the southwest at 15-30mph. Highs will stay on the mild side with temps into the 50’s and 60’s. Chance of rain 80%.

Tonight – cloudy skies with more showers and even a few thunderstorms. Breezy winds from 10-25mph with even higher gusts. Lows will stay steady into the 40’s and low 50’s. Chance of rain 60%.

Tuesday – mostly cloudy skies with scattered showers and a few thunderstorms. Some clearing skies expected later in the afternoon. Highs into the 50’s and low 60’s. Chance of rain 40%.

Wednesday – mostly sunny skies and much drier conditions with warmer temps as highs climb back into the 60’s.
