Class canceled at Temple View Elementary, election polls still open

Students at Temple View Elementary were sent home early today after a water pipe burst in the front of the school. The leak did not cause any damage to the school itself.

School District 91 announced Temple View will be closed Wednesday because of the broken water main. Crews are working to repair the problem and restore water service.

All other schools will be in session Wednesday.

The school was also serving as a polling place for Election Day and those polls remained open Tuesday.
