Hearing once again delayed for Joshua Holt
The hearing for Joshua Holt has once again been delayed.
Holt is the Utah man, formerly of Pocatello, who is being held in a Venezuelan jail on suspicion of being a U.S. terrorist.
The judge was a no-show at Holt’s last two hearings. On Tuesday, the judge did show up but the decision was to delay the hearing.
No new date has been scheduled yet.
Joshua Holt’s mom, Laurie, said the Under Secretary of State Thomas Shannon met with the Venezuelan president last week. She said other members of the State Department, as well as Utah Senator Orin Hatch, have all been big players in the fight to free Josh.
Joshua Holt has now been in jail about 132 days.
