Voter turnout
The voting booths were busy Tuesday morning with last minute voters stopping by their designated precincts.
Dozens of people lined up to register and vote, election clerks managed the lines.
After casting their ballots, voters walked away with an “I VOTED” sticker.
Voter DeRoy Taylor said, “Well it’s the day to vote, and voting is a way for me to contribute my voice to society, telling other people that this is what I believe in, and the principles that I want.”
The polls will be open until 8 p.m.
