Pocatello Sears opening delayed

The opening of the new Sears in Pocatello has been postponed.

The store was scheduled to hold its ribbon cutting and soft opening on Thursday. But management said due to some technical issues with the sales system, the opening had to be postponed.

Management said everything else is pretty much ready to go, but without a sales and checkout system, the store can’t open.

The store is hoping to have the system up and running in the next few days.

As of right now, the soft opening has been rescheduled for Nov. 22.
