New Jersey man arrested with 55 pounds of marijuana
Idaho State Police seized about 55 pounds of marijuana during a traffic stop near Caldwell. Huu Tran, 55, of Brick, New Jersey was arrested and booked into the Canyon County jail for marijuana trafficking in excess of 25 pounds. The pot had an estimated street value of $165,000. Tran was the sole occupant of a Toyota Sienna. The arrest happened at 12:57 p.m., November 16, on Interstate 84, milepost 28, near Caldwell.
