Bannock County Commissioner announces resignation

Bannock County commissioner Karl Anderson announced Monday he will be resigning from office.

Karl Anderson made the announcement through in a news release. It said the reason is due to personal and family circumstances.

Anderson has been a commissioner since January 2009. He still has two years left on his elected term.

The release stated, “This decision is not made lightheartedly and Commissioner Anderson will miss working for the citizens of Bannock County and all the employees. Commissioner Anderson feels deep regret for not being able to complete the remaining two years in his elected term and appreciates the understanding of his constituents for his situation and privacy.”
