Body of missing Chubbuck man recovered

Police in Chubbuck have recovered the body of Michael Lowe, who was reported missing October 14, 2016.

Lowe’s body was found in Chubbuck at 3 p.m. Friday, November 18. Police said an investigation into Lowe’s death is still underway, but police do not suspect foul play. They said there were no obvious signs of injury.

Police added, they do not believe there is a public safety risk associated with his death.

Chubbuck police are looking for a man who hasn’t been seen since October 8th.

Police said Michael Lowe does not own a vehicle.

Family members first requested a welfare check on October 14th. The family then filed a missing person report on October 21, since they have not heard or seen him.

Lowe is 31 years old, 5-feet 9-inches tall, 185 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.
