Man arrested for aggravated battery after ramming woman’s car

Idaho Falls Police arrested a man for aggravated battery and driving without privileges Monday after he rammed a woman’s vehicle with his car.

28‐year‐old Tomas J. Sandoval of Idaho Falls was booked into the Bonneville County Jail Monday. According to reports, officers responded to a disturbance in the 1400 block of West Broadway around 1:30 p.m. The reporting party stated a vehicle, driven by Sandoval, was ramming into another vehicle, driven by a 46‐year‐old woman.

Officers made contact with both Sandoval and the woman. The woman told police she and Sandoval had gotten into an argument. When she drove away, Sandoval followed her and struck her vehicle several times with the vehicle he was driving trying to stop her. Sandoval has a suspended driver’s license.
