JHMR and Grand Targhee to open on December 1st
After a late start to the winter season, both Jackson Hole Mountain Resort and Grand Targhee Resort announced Monday that they would open for the 2016/17 season on December 1st.
In the last day JHMR has had 18 inches of new snow and will be ready to open Teewinot and Après Vous lifts at 9 am on Thursday with additional lifts and terrain scheduled to open over the weekend as snow conditions allow.
Grand Targhee says in the last 7 days they’ve received 39 inches of new snow and are ready to open the ski runs on Thursday. The resort shuttle with several stops in Driggs will also start running Thursday.
