Snowy travel for Christmas Eve

Winter Weather Advisory for the I-15 corridor and neighboring counties with snow/rain/ice mixed in for the remainder of the Christmas weekend. Highs will remain in the mid 30's with lows in the low 20's. SW winds 15-30 mph gusts will take wind chills to mid teens to near 20 for daytime feel-like temperatures. Anything that falls to ground/sidewalk will freeze, so there will be slick driving conditions and blowing snow may affect visibility.

A winter storm warning for western Wyoming continues for the weekend with 4-8+ inches for passes and ridges and more above 9000 feet. . 1-3 inches for valleys and more into Sunday.

NORTHERN WASATCH MOUNTAINS IN FRANKLIN AND BEAR LAKE
COUNTIES.FROM 6 AM THIS MORNING TO 6 AM SATURDAY..

RECENT HEAVY SNOW COMBINED WITH WIND WILL LIKELY CREATE WIDESPREAD AREAS OF UNSTABLE SNOW.  STAY OFF OF AND OUT FROM UNDER SLOPES STEEPER THAN 30 DEGREES.

Ultra cold air dashes in next week and we go below zero at night with single digit highs. Merry Christmas and make sure you love someone and take care of those who may need some help getting through the holidays and who are missing people they love.
